Adventure Kayak Trips

Inclusive Kayak Adventures for the Outdoor Enthusiast

What Do We Do?

Lodge Based Adventures

Our lodge based adventures are made to accommodate the adventurer who enjoys the comforts of home. Built for adventure but with a slice of comfort to enjoy in the evenings. We meticulously plan out the details of every trip to ensure each guest has the best experience. These multiday adventures also range from being inclusive to all inclusive. Inclusive trips will provide all the necessities of the trip: lodging, kayak equipment, shuttling services, park fees (if applicable) and an experienced qualified guide. All inclusive trips will provide everything above as well as all meals or partial meals.

Camping Based Adventures

Our camping adventures vary from a “base” camp to a mobile camp for a multi-day river kayak expedition. For those who love to sleep outside and let the sounds of nature sing a lullaby, this is your ticket to the perfect get-a-way. Don’t have your own camping gear? That’s okay, we have you covered with affordable tent rentals that we set up and take down for you. Camping and kayaking will never be easier. Like the lodge based trips, our camping trips are inclusive trips that provide you with all the necessities.

Where Do We Explore?

Coastal Wetlands

Our coastal kayaking multi-day trips offer a variety of styles and locations. Join us for a multi-day kayaking camping adventure to an undeveloped barrier island with a boneyard appearance, or come on out for a certified instructor led kayak class. When it comes to kayaking, we know there are different “strokes” for different folks. Our coastal kayaking trips vary from calm easy water to more dynamic water and surf conditions for a little added excitement.

The Low Country

Traveling just a few miles inland from the coast lies the vast “low country” expanse of South Carolina.  Dive deep into the low country with our overnight or multi-day kayaking adventures to explore the southern swamp forests and lakes. Shaded liquid alleys lined with centuries old tupelo and cypress adorned with long hanging tinsel made up of Spanish Moss. The sounds of nature come alive in these hidden gems of South Carolina.

Mountain Streams & Lakes

Tucked away in the mountain valleys are some of the most scenic paddling trails the state has to offer. The clear flowing water travels down from the mountains offering some fun playful class I & II rapids along the way. The lakes are bordered by boulders, cliffs and waterfalls. Our multi-day adventure to Lake Jocassee explores the waterfalls cascading into the lake which are discreetly tucked away in hidden coves accessible by boat or kayak.

“This is by far the best group of people to kayak and camp with. When it’s cold outside, we all learnt how to make a fire with flint. Hence we will never be cold. The camping facility allowed us to stay dry, when it was raining. For the kayaking the weather was perfect. The schedule is flexible to accommodate the weather. To be camping and kayaking in December might seem like a crazy idea, but if Justin and laurie are going, then you are guaranteed a good time.”

“Revolutionary River Camp Adventure: 12/9-12/11/24: What a great kayaking and camping experience organized by Justin and Laurie!
Incredible fun exploring the Lynches River as well as the Lynches River County Park. All with an amazing group of people – some I was familiar with and new friends I met. Destination Kayak couldn’t make it easier for me to do this – providing the Kayak and Tent. So well organized and clear on what I needed to bring and be prepared to do to make the most of my experience. Would highly recommend these trips/adventures!! 5 STAR!”
